is the title of our new series we are going to be
covering during the month of January.
This series is going address
biblical teaching about:
1. What happens one minute after you die?
2. What
does the Bible say about heaven?
3. What does the Bible say about
hell?
These are critical things that believers need to understand and be
able to explain and defend in a world that is full of many other views and false
teachings.
The Zone meets on Wednesday nights from 7-8:30 pm as well as
during all three services on Sunday morning- 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30am.

The biggestweapon our enemy uses against us in his attack of deception is pride. Pride has a way of blinding our sight and confusing our senses. I haveheard one of the first things pilots are taught is to never fly in cloud unlessyou are trained to use the instrument panel. Once in the cloud you loseyou sense of perception and have no bearings about which direction is up ordown. I heard Mike Davis tell a story about how he had his first cloudencounter. When he got his pilot’s license he went and rented a plan togo for his first solo flight. After take off the first thing he did wasgo “cloud hunting.” After few short seconds of flying into the cloud, helost all bearings and luckily escaped with his life.
When we thinkmore of ourselves than we ought to we lose the “God compose” that keeps usaligned with Him. We start thinking that we can handle things wecan’t and start doing things that we shouldn’t. Pride kills ourperception of reality and causes to be vulnerable to the deceptions of ourenemy.
